How long are events?
Webinars are about 50 minutes. Workshops are a little longer.
How do I get CPE credit?
Select live events offer CPE. If you attend a CPE event, simply answer all poll questions and your CPE certificate will be sent to you.
What if I miss a live event?
All events are recorded and you can watch them in the library as often as you wish.
How do I register?
Each event has its own event page and registration link. All members can register for as many events as they wish.
What's the difference between a webinar and a workshop?
In a webinar, we present the big picture, an overview of a topic or idea. The purpose is to provide inspiration, motivation and information. The format is one or two presenters speaking to an online audience. The audience is in listen and watch only mode and may ask questions and chat. The typical webinar runs 50 minutes and most are CPE credit eligible. The recordings are available to all schoolofbookkeeping.com members.
In a workshop, we provide a hands on, head down discussion about a topic or idea with the intention to provide a deliverable, a new skill, or set the stage for additional development. We will build something together, in an engaging and interactive environment where everyone is a panelist with audio and video turned on in both directions. The audience is limited and recordings are only available to actual participants.
