Breaking news! Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks have been working hard to support both, end-users and QuickBooks ProAdvisors. All small businesses have been impacted by COVID-19 and are struggling with the uncertainty of the economic impact. These initiatives Intuit will be sharing will benefit our clients and our own small business needs during this unprecedented time.
Intuit announced a new Small Business Relief Initiative through GoFund me, and have committed to donating $1M to this effort. The initiative has been created to make it easier for people to help their local small businesses in a trusted way that will have a true impact on the cash flow and livelihoods of the business owners that are struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to helping small business customers, Intuit realizes that accountants are working hard to help small business clients adjust to this time of uncertainty while also dealing with the realities of running their own business. Accountants looking to start a GoFundMe for their practice or any clients impacted by COVID-19 can do so by following a few easy steps at Small Business Help.
Additionally, Intuit is donating their entire television ad buy for the next few months to run ads directing people to donate to this fund, rather than continuing the originally planned campaign which focused QuickBooks itself and switch the focus to helping small businesses. During these uncertain times, we working together to brainstorm ways to stay in business and pivoting where necessary to transition to working remotely with our employees and clients. We are developing new ways to minimize the economic impact this unprecedented event will have on us all.
